Falling out of love with Al Jefferson

I think Jefferson's problem boils down to intelligence. He's just not very bright. I think he's easily the least intelligent player on the roster—including Fesenko and Miles. If he and Robert Whaley were to hang out I'm not sure who'd be the side-kick.

Boozer was always intelligent, but he was just an ***.

Those interior passes were the worst thing about his performance tonight. Deron probably couldn't have hit those. He just needs to show a little patience and kick the ball out or try to make something happen instead of playing 500 with the defense.

People loved Jefferson so quickly because he was not Boozer. Hell, when there were rumors of us getting Al Harrington this board was all excited, again for the same reason, not Boozer.

Losses make this site retarded.

Yeah, I'm sure it's just 'losses.'

Has nothing to do with HOW we played or our continual ineptitude against most conference teams or our incessant flaunting of our deficiencies.

It's just a plain ol' 'loss' that is getting to people. Nothing more.

*ROLLS EYES*

You know what is funny? He makes the same amount as Boozer over the next 3 years.

And after those 3 years, we are in the same situation as we were with Boozer. He is 28 and wants a 6 year max deal.

I'm not saying I won't give him a chance, but by the all star break if he hasn't drastically improved in at least a couple of those areas I mentioned above, I will be seriously disappointed. I just worry that, at his best, he isn't going to be any better than Boozer.

I don't -and never - wanted to be right about Jefferson. The move at the time seemed lateral at absolute best but have been trying to convince myself that things will work out for the best.

So far, outside of some heroic wins (which he's played a role in, even if riddled with mistakes), they haven't.

So, Al, if you're reading this, GET NASTY. I haven't seen you do it yet.
