What's new

One consolation

In case the thread topic still matters, the Jazz will be unlikely to find a trade partner who will not want us to pick up salary in return. In which case we do nothing. Same as last year. I am sure there were suitors for Sap and AJ but the likely all wanted us to take on longer term salary which only works if you get an asset you really want. If we could get a pic for Jeff or Marvin I think the front office would do a trade in a minute but otherwise probably not.

What about we get a matching expiring contract PLUS an additional draft pick from a contender who couldn't care less about a 25th pick????

So strange - I checked to see that you weren't "online" when I posted the comment, then you replied me within like the next minute.

HOw'D YoU dO tHaT bRo??????

Unnamed source informed me that you would be replying to my comment.

Pretty bummed out with the tank but there's at least 1 consolation out of all this:

Hopefully this means that they're likely to be traded at the trade deadline to a title contender, netting us an additional asset and improving the tank in the process.

Clippers are pretty thin the front court - could you guys imagine Marvin backing up Blake???? Or how about Richard Jefferson providing some much needed scoring off the bench for the likes of Indiana Pacers, or OKC?

My NBA insider guy seems to have come through for me regarding this.

The Jefferson/Bynum potential trade had just confirmed this guy's LEGIT.
