Considering that the Bulls somehow got three picks out of it, and the Jazz might ask for one? And considering that Luol Deng wouldn't even sniff and was insulted at $10 mil/year on an extension (which means that the Cavs will have to overpay to keep him [especially since Cleveland does in fact blow **** and he's a UFA], or have just gone and flushed three picks down the toilet for basically nothing as far as I can see)?

Yeah, I don't know.

Consider that we are talking about Cleveland, flushing picks down the toilet is kind of their thing. If they can trade a pick for a proven solid player, they need to do that rather than risk actually having to use the pick. Deng for a top 10 protected pick is a solid deal for them.
