Not hungry enough yet? Gotta wait for dem veggies to grow?

It's a pity really, cos I think the tank is starting to get interesting. There's no smoke without fire - Lindsey has something brewing for sure with either Jefferson or Marvin Williams.

He has done a masterful job showcasing them as ultimate role players for a contender, all the while still being in the race for one of the worst records.

Pretty rough night for the tank..... most all of the wrong teams won (damn you warriors!) with the only good news being the knicks won.

Want to but too busy at work at the moment (it's Summer here and us being a garden centre and all)...

sorry guys... :(
So what you're saying is that all of that hammering on Hey Hey was just a big show and you would never have done as good a job as he did for the first two months of the season. Gotcha. I'll keep you on ignore.

A brief lazy look at the top teams in the tank patrol appears to show more hope than I previously thought:

Bucks
Still got it in the bag

Magic
Decent tank

Jazz
I'm gaining faith in DL. Pretty clear that he is working trade channels to take current assets or even non-assets and move them to make the future brighter and today a bit darker. Not just the cavs rumor, but also the interview that Frank posted right before the rumors began to fly. If he can pull it off the tank will be damaged, but not beyond repair.

Kings
With recent wins over Miami and Houston they are looking like they belong in the second tier of the tank patrol.

Cavs
With Kyrie out, I'm not sure a great trade would even help them, Perhaps Gasol, depending on what they have to give up. The tank for them is built pretty strong, even if they don't want it to be.

Knicks
They are finally pulling it together. Looking to be much less of a threat.

76ers
4 game win streak.

Nets
Took down OKC in OKC. Looks like a fluke, but we can hope, right?!

At this point I don't see other threats to the tank, but trades will likely change that.

It's hard for me to project where the Jazz go. If you simply take the current .500 trend and extrapolate we end up with 34 wins, 41.4% which would be the 11th pick in the current standings. I can easily see us doing a bit better than that barring injury, or if Corbin/Enes or even Gobert gets used more effectively. On the other hand, moving Marvin, or an injury to a key player could reverse that fragile .500 trend. For some reason I can't see us picking much higher than 8th, just a gut feeling. I hope that ends up being the case. DL has the power to significantly lower any projection and I think he will.

What has Dennis Lindsey done to make you guys think that we are going to tank? Or make a move? Has he said something? Or are we always just going to believe in Bynum's agent because he would never ever ever blow smoke to try to force the lakers hand?

You honestly think it's a GM's job to tip their hand at all times just to make you happy? Get a ****ing grip dude.

And to answer your question, HE BUILT THE ****ING TANK. Or have you been asleep for the past six months?
