What has Dennis Lindsey done to make you guys think that we are going to tank? Or make a move? Has he said something? Or are we always just going to believe in Bynum's agent because he would never ever ever blow smoke to try to force the lakers hand?

You honestly think it's a GM's job to tip their hand at all times just to make you happy? Get a ****ing grip dude.

And to answer your question, HE BUILT THE ****ING TANK. Or have you been asleep for the past six months?

He should be loaded up on xannys. Dude is a moment a way from full implosion.

First post of thread hasn't been updated in 2.5 weeks. Might have to unsticky this soon. :-(

And has done nothing to sustain it.

It looks as if the franchise has abandoned the tank and is merely looking to eek out some profit this year. Apparently we are satisfied with being mediocre.

man, I really hope Kings are able to acquire Andre Miller. Great veteran point guard that doesn't need to shoot the ball to make a difference on a team full of shoot chuckers (cousins/gay/thomas). That'll help em win some games.

This, he could change a lot of attitudes (SACs biggest problem IMO). Could be huge for them (and us)

Sorry for my last post in this thread. I didn't really know how to do the table.

Nice little nugget here re tanking:

Q: What is your feeling on "tanking"?

Rivers: "I don't think that happens -- at least not with coaches or players. You can't tell me that any coach is out there trying to lose games. That doesn't mean management hasn't set up a team not to win, but coaches are trying to win. I'm coaching against [Philadelphia] Brett Brown and he's agonizing with every play."

Stevens: "I agree with Doc that no players or coaches are trying to lose games. We're focused on trying to be the best we can do and that will always be the case. I'm seeing progress every day, but the losses sting now. That's not fun. Everyone is trying to get better and win games. I'd agree that no one is out there trying to lose games. The whole word and concept frustrates me, personally. We have a young team, and everything we do is to try and improve and be good today and tomorrow, to establish a culture with these young players."
