What's new

Utah Jazz VS the cavs moo....Fri. Jan 10 7:00 PM ROOT Sports 97.5 FM / 1280 AM / 960 AM

Very good points, but that doesn't negate the fact that there's still a chance for them to turn out.

The time for Favors and Hayward is finishing. They can't be eternal hopes.

Burks will never be an All-Star and Kanter is in the wrong team.

What does Kanter have to do to get 30 mins. a game? In the second quarter the Cavs were literally sending three guys to stop him. He played great.

He has to hope that Corbin won't be the Jazz coach next year.

He became officially a bench player, even when Marvin sucks

Hopefully Marvin will be gone by the trade deadline. Even if not little chance he is back. I would not mind seeing us trying to trade him to Rockets for DM and filler to make the contracts work. Also the bench Evans to give more pt to the DM, Kanter, and Favors.

None of the Jazz'z core minus Trey are really that young.

Burks is 22 and hasnt had playing time till this year.

Kanter is 21 and has no college bball experience and hardly any nba experience.

They are both very young

Kanter is a stud but hasn't got athleticism to be a star. Favors is in his 4th Year and just now showing a bit of offense. I like his game alot but he is no star. Burks? Seriously? He's athletic as you can get. He however is not close to a star. Hayward is in his 4th Year too. He has the tools but he has Kirilenko'itis. He is very inconsistent. Trey has the demeanor to be a star. I Just don't see him as gifted physically to be a star. Good players, yes. Stars, no freaking way.
It is always great to have a man who can so clearly see the future of 22-year old players. Of course, I remember how in the mid-1980s the Jazz drafted two 22-year olds in the middle of the draft, since everybody agreed that no way they could turn out to be stars: one not physically gifted point guard with a good demeanor and one offensively challenged PF...

That couldn't possibly have turned out well. Thank God for the ellipse so that you didn't have to tell us the end of your sad tale. Unfortunately, nateboz probably won't be able to resist telling us all how that turned out, or will he...

Dummy, it was John and Karl.

I swear, some people shouldn't breed.

Thanks to you nateboz didn't say the most idiotic thing in this thread, though. I think he owes you some rep for making that save.

There is no freaking way there is a future star on this team. Trey is the closest thing but he'll never be more then a top 10 point guard. That's very good but no star. Every other good young player the Jazz have are good players, definitely not stars though.

Jermaine O Neal was a late bloomer.
