What's new

GT: Jazz @ Spurs Jan 15th 6 p.m. - AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

Man after a game like this Kanter should really be put back into the starting line up. Marvin played terrible, but knowing Corbin he'll probably say, "That's exactly what we want in a bench player."

Kanter followed Williams lead.

^TBH, all the fanaticism makes these performances less enjoyable. Dumb, I know.

I couldn't concentrate on much of the game today but Kanter had one particular move I saw that was impressive as any. I look forward to watching it over and over on stats.nba.com tomorrow.

But again, let us see him do it against Duncan instead of Boris Ginobili or whoever it was.

Frank-You are a conflicted putz sometimes. But then again i probably am also. Do you enjoy anything?

The Jazz have a 22 year old 3rd year shooting guard (a position of need for about 15 years on this team) and after three starts he's getting 23 ppg on 54% FGs. Everybody on this board should be on his nuts. It seems like half the threads the last couple days have been about Burks - that number should probably be 75%. Yes, it is just three games, but it's all we have at this point. If Burks continues to start and begins to stink it up, then we should get off his nuts and rip him to shreds. Until that time, if you're a Jazz fan, sit back and enjoy the young star.

Awesome.

Really all of the young guys are playing like i thought they could if just given the time on the court to show it.

The young guys are very fun to watch right now.... just wish we wouldnt have had to wait so long to see em.

And the demise of the tank is unfortunate, but damn..... trey, gordon, alec, derrick, and enes have me believing that this team will be in the playoffs next year even if our draft pick doesnt end up contributing alot.

Ya it sucks that we could miss out on the piece that could make us real contenders but these young guys in the playoffs would be fun too.

Wow, that was a great game. We looked good against the best team(debatably) in the league and lost. That's perfect right now. Also Core young dudes all looking good. Of course there were mistakes, but We have a bunch of ~22 year olds who have a half a year playing together. I think there is much to be happy about.

Burks and Kanter have joined Burke, Favors, Hayward as legit players. Aside from Carkar and DouchJazzer being, so painfully negative, this was a great Jazz night .

I didn't mean it personal like that, but you understood what I meant.

Who was the guy he danced around again? I didn't recognize his name.

Jeff Ayres (born Jeffrey Curtis Orcutt on April 29, 1987), formerly known as Jeff Pendergraph. Regarded by Popovich and Frank Vogel as a good defensive player.

After watching this game, I feel we are just a good bench, and a couple years of growth of the core 5 from at least contending not necessarily winning a chip. Easily this was Kanters best game ever. I watched the game on Espn, and it was as if these guys had never seen Kanter play. At one point they compared him to Kevin McHale. He had all the moves tonight it was a pleasure to watch.

This team could end up like the early 2000's Pistons team. No real superstars just 5 star level players with good chemistry and fit.

I'm not sure Corbin plays a key role in the Core5 success. The bad thing is that he will benefit from it probably getting the extension.

So why does Corbin get all the blame when the team was losing but now the team is playing a lot better he gets very little praise. So it was Corbin's fault the players weren't playing well but now that they are playing well but it is the players who are making the difference.
