What's new

Hey Look guys! I made a thread! A trade thread! :O GOD HELP US ALL!

LOL... Wes isn't THAT good. We can get more for Kanter fo sho.

I'm not sure he is. And if he is will he ever be given the chance to really, REALLY show it behind Hayward, Burks, Burke, favors, and the superstar we end up with in the draft? Especially with Corbins love of the stretch 4?

Don't kid yourself. Corbin is with this team for 4 more years at least.

Lets run with getting more...what more can we squeeze out of Portland? Or a third team?

Wes is good. Kanter is good and young. You NEVER trade a big for a small. Kanter is worth a top 5 pick THIS year. Big guys who have coordination are actually pretty rare.

This though....i tried to ignore it, but i just can't. If he's that good, he would be forcing any coach to start him, Crayolacorbin included.

I think Kanter will be an All-Star. I don't think Kanter fits in too well with Burke and Favors, BUT that could be Corbin's fault as well. I don't move Kanter this year. I wait until I see where my draft pick is. If it somewhere I'm not happy with (4-7) then I try to trade Kanter and my pick up for a top 3 pick. If it is where I want it (top 3), then I see what the new coach can do with Kanter. If Kanter is still a defensive liability, then I move him next trade deadline. If not, I pat myself on the back for drafting an awesome player, sticking with him, and bringing in the correct coach.

Remember that this is after the draft this year, not before.

Top 5? I don't know that I'd go that far but I'd say a pick in the 9 to 15 range for sure.
