OK, here are the facts:
A. Trey is a 0.905 FT shooter
B. That is a top 3 FT% this year (just behind Redick;ahead of Dirk!)
C. The benchmark for appearing on the list is "On pace to make 125 free throws"
D. TB shoots 2 FT/G and makes 1.8 (by BR - https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/b/burketr01.html)
E. He already made 57.
F. If he makes 1.8 a game, he needs 38 more games to score 125.
G. Utah has exactly 38 games left.
H. Trey is clearly 'on pace' to make 125 this year.

0.905 is a phenomenal achievement for any player especially for rooks. This is better % than Magic, Bird, Lebron or Durant had on their rookie season.

Just sayin'..

I think you're making it more complicated than ESPN is making it. The Jazz have played 45 games - more than halfway through the schedule, yet Trey Burke, with his 57 makes is not yet halfway to 125 made FTs. Therefore, he is behind the pace.

Two pieces of advice:

1. Change thread title to something like "Hey wow, Trey is a really good free throw shooter lets discuss"
2. Only include the bolded parts

Who cares if he qualifys for a list.
