Have the #5 (maybe even #4) draft pick, or the #7 and the #14 from golden state going into the lottery for this years draft?

Note: Going into the lottery, so the picks could move up or down etc.

Tough call..... after wiggins, embiid, parker there isnt anyone i love so i guess i would take 7 and 14

So #5 would have higher chance of moving up to top 3, we could probably move up a good amount with the #7 and #14 picks via trade though. There's also the possibility that both the picks move up and we get two top 3 picks!!!

The greater odds of moving up mean everything.

dont give a *** about the difference between #14 and #21.

Stars win championships, not guys picked #14

So just played the lottery for fun, got the #1 pick and Parker... with a 3.5% chance. nice.

Whoa whoa whoa.... so #5 is getting us a top 3 pick? Well sure then i take the top 3 pick over 7 and 14.

I thought the OP was asking if you would draft 5th or 7th and 14th.

Basically would you rather have marcus smart.......or aaron gordon and nick stauskas?

Maybe exum slips to 5
Would you rather have exum...... or noah vonleh and james young?

Maybe randle slips to 5.
Would you rather have randle...... or aaron gordon and lavine?

I think that 2 good rotation players > 1 good rotation player.
(I do like randle though so randle or aaron gordon and stauskas is a tough one, but i still take gordon and stauskas)

Btw i have no idea if im spelling stauskas right or not. (The michigan gaurd)

Also like ugli has been saying, nba is not like nfl.
Teams are not going to trade down out of the top 3.

As written a few times, I said going into the lottery with these picks, (the picks can still move).

So you're pretty much saying you'd be fine with either?

Im saying that i dont think the #5 pick can be moved to the top 3 since i dont think any team will trade a top 3 pick for anything we offer.

So assuming that we stay at 5 like i think would be the case, I would rather have 7th and 14th
2 good rotation guys are better than 1 good rotation guy

Superstar (top 3) is better than 2 rotation guys though......... like i said though, we aint gettin into that top 3

If you are talking about the picks having a chance to win the lottery and move up that way, then i think the thread idea overall is stupid and moot

In this scenario i choose to go into the lottery with the 7th and 14th most chances at moving up and then getting incredibly lucky and having the 7th pick move up to number 1 and the 14th move up to number 2.
Draft wiggins and embiid

That is what i choose i guess.

Yes I said going into the lottery, not the draft.

I'm not saying you have the choice to decide and move up. I'm saying you now have two picks that could, but have a much lower percentage, move up, then having the #5 pick.

So does the number 5 pick alone give us more ping pong balls than #7 and #14 combined?

#5 pick has a 6.3% chance of moving to top 3.

#7 has a 3.6%, and #14 has a 0.5%, which added together is a 4.1% to moving into the top 3 in a sense.
