If you were the GM of the Jazz...

Let's all post and discuss what we would do if we were the GM of this team right now. Right now, the team could go in a hundred different directions, but what do you think they should do with all the potential, cap space and draft picks they have?

Not going to post mine in the first post, hoping that it does not become the central point of the thread. Anyway, hope this makes for some good discussion...

My plan if I inherited Dennis Lindsay's job tomorrow:

1. Tank like hell, and hope I get Jabari or Andrew Wiggins. If we don't, then I would like to see us get Aaron Gordon, as our need is on the wing. But another huge prize could be getting Embiid.

2. If we draft a wing, then I would trade for Paul Millsap this offseason, and sign a few guys to fill out the roster. I wanted the Jazz to keep Millsap in the offseason, and I have always thought he would be a great fit alongside Favors. The lineup with Marvin and Favors has been playing well, and there is no reason not to think that Millsap would be a much better option than Marvin as a stretch 4 in our small ball lineup. If we draft Embiid, then the Millsap option kind of does not make sense.

3. I would like this to be my roster opening night of 2014-15 season:

PG: Burke, Neto, Garrett

Wings: Hayward, Draft(Jabari, Gordon, Wiggins), Burks, Marvin

PF: Millsap, Marvin, Evans

C: Favors, Kanter, Gobert

We also have another first round draft pick this year, and a second as well to fill out the roster with a few high potential guys. I think the lineup could be very good, and have a good mix of vets with young guys.

But you did post yours in the first post

If I was GM of the Jazz I would fire KOC because he is the reason we are stuck in mediocrity.

KOC is always trying to play catch up and mimic successful organizations that he has no chance of copying because their talent/timing/luck is too unique.

Good post. KOC Begone!

1. Fire Ty and hire SVGundy
2. Trade Jefferson for a bag of chips
3. Draft Doug McDermott and celebrate when he wins ROTY
4. Make a huge trade and get Durrant...:)

Ride or die the rest of the season with the Core 5 starting together.

Fire Corbin and bring in Sloan as the interim coach for the rest of the season only. Sloan would put the team over his own interests, where I don't think Corbin is doing that.

....I'd try and talk the owner into selling the team! If that fell through....I'd just slit my throat and be done with it!

Win win win win..... I would get this team to win as much as I could!!!!!

Starting next season obviously!!!!!!
