What's new

GSW at Utah as Jazz honour Jerry Sloan. 8.30 PM.

If Hayward gets the max contract we risk to lose Burks.

I think Gordon is not indispensable to this team.

And just how do we risk losing burks? Do you know how much room there is under the salary cap? There is room for all of our young guys right now.

burke seriously looked awful. AWFUL defensively. he was on skates the entire time on the floor. ugly ugly game for him, hayward, and corbin.
hayward seriously looked like a lost puppy again, i haven't seen that as much this season, but tonight was a sharp reminder of why he will never, ever, be the alpha.

I am actually feeling upset for the first time this season.

I dont care about Ws or Ls this season, but wholly **** i am coming away from this one questioning the logic behind half the players, schemas, and rotations.

the over and back call from an inbounds play? seriously? this is the NBA, know the rules.

subbing out rudy, and playing rjeff at the 4 instead of kanter-gobert, even after gobert was dominating the paint and rjeff was invisible? like, what? even the ESPN commentators were like, 'why has kanter been on the bench so long??'

running three straight iso plays with <1min, two of which were ran by players having horrible nights.

i think i counted about 4-5 wide open threes for klay thompson (lucky he missed so much or we'd have been blown out), and another 5 or so wide open looks for curry. seriously, you'd think it'd be in the game plan to smother the perimeter, especially with lee out. not to mention all the botched (again, luckily) layups and dunks from barnes.

the frustration marks go on and on. ugly, uglyness.

As much fun as is it to bag on individual players and/or the coaching staff tonight, let's not forget that we played a good team to a very close game with a rotation where fringe NBA players and rookie D league call ups are logging major minutes. If I were a fan of the warriors I would not feel too great about barely beating a team with that lineup.

ooh REally. warriors suck these past few games

Particularly when you consider the only time it gets iffy is in four years when we may need to resign burke. The cap will probably be higher at that point, and we may make any number of transactions that could impact our cap space by then. I don't think we risk to much by overpaying Hayward by a mil or two.

This. Actually, Corbin did a good job until the 4th quarter, especially with marvin, favors and evans out. But then.....what the hell man haha. Why playing Gobert so much in the 4? he was awful defending the pick and left curry wide open on those 3s. What happened to burks? can someone explain to me why he was on the bench?...and that hayward play...why on earth would you want to put the ball in his hands when he is clearly struggling? My head is spinning. Corbin is a moron and I hate the warriors...

Lastly...did someone say reggie miller is overrated? What?. He wasn't just a good shooter...he was a great one. A fighter and clutch as hell

agreed, miller was nasty, in-your-face (and could back it up), and was very clutch. he had the fire, and was a poster-child shooter, such quick release and nice form. I have always liked reggie's game.
