What's new

This will be a duplicate thread in GD.. but relevant all places.

I might be down for that. Maybe rent a van or something. Don't want to bring my own vehicle into Mexico.

Another option is you guys could just pack a van or a gas saving rental car to San Diego and then fly the rest of the way. That would cut the flight tickets in half. Spirit Air has a special flight to Cabo out of there.

I'm not sulking. I just like to have different experiences for myself as well as WITH my family, together.
I don't want my kids to have an overly myopic view of the world. Exploring cultures and meeting people is my #1 goal for a vacation. Not much of that in Cabo. This will be fun, relaxing, and memorable.. as most people aim for, but it will not be life-changing. <---------- that is what I am always most interested in. I am thankful for what I have and where I am in life, but there is no substitute for pushing your own boundaries and recognizing other, just as plausible, realities.

This is a great view to have. I was reading a biography of teddy Roosevelt called "The Last Romantic" and his dad had a view like this for their family vacations. They would do these awesome trips around he world, and have so many great life shaping experiences for their kids.

Legit have to call you a bitch for not signing up for this.

--Bachelor.

--Doesn't work/spends his day in the library.

--Loves surfing, I'm sure there's none of that in Cabo or on the way.

--Brags about international travel.

--Brags about spending time in shady international ghettos. PKM says he likes the same; surely there's some 'sploring to do around Cabo.

--Can afford it financially, thanks to millions from day trading.

Bitch.
