I think you got the wrong idea of Hero ball and actually making isolation plays that result in scoring +and 1's

Everyone comes into the league with some holes in thier game so what makes you think burks would not been able to improve his holes while getting time on the court?

Also playing a young guy some consistent minutes in a consistent role doesnt mean the coach has to be "hands off." Corbin could still coach burks while playing him.... i would think anyways

I think being on the bench is a great way to learn earlier in your career. Players respond to being on the bench. There is a reward to playing the right way, you get more minutes and a punishment for doing tings the wrong way, you get benched.

I guess I just favor the approach more. I think it works better and is safer. I've said I don;t 100% agree with is allocation of minutes, but I think the general idea is a good one.
 
One game, Kanter is the beast, tonight it's Burks, another night it's Williams... imagine if our core played consistent - we'd be scary.

Maybe corbin will finally get the message but i still think hayward favors and burke will get more minutes than alec regardless of what alec does

Hayward got rest in the 4th quarter. It's easier to do with starters because the minutes are more balanced. What do you do with a 6th man? play him 18 straight minutes in the 1st and 3rd half? It's the biggest problem with 6th men who finish. Playing 18 straight minutes is hard no matter what. Doesn't matter if you havent played in a couple of days, that's a lot of time to play without a good rest to gather your energy for a final push, especially when your game is so much based off of your attacking.

Fair enough. Maybe you are right.

Sure sucks as a fan though when you really like watching a player and you are forced to watch raja bell, cj miles, and randy foye while your eyes bleed.

Maybe it was better for burks though.... i dont know

Yeah, I was actually against Burks starting at first, but now I think it makes sense with Hayward's struggles. I think Hayward and Burke need another play-maker since neither of them are creating offense for themselves very well (and Burke aint creating offense for anyone right now).

Not going to happen with the record of the current starting lineup though, unless a trade happens.

Burks seems like he has an ability that is lacking in that starting unit.

Of course the bench would suck but **** it
 
If starting Burks is the only way to get him more than 29 or 23 minutes on nights when he's dominating and the best player in the game, then throw every other argument or reason out the window - he simply has to start.

I think he's better coming off the bench but I don't say that because I don't think he can handle starting, I just think we need to be able to give that punch to the mouth to the other team. He def needs minutes when he's producing though. Also, Corbin is an idiot.
