Watson the best backup PG?

his play was, at worst, forgettable. i'd even argue that he was more effective than a rookie williams. but whatever. he looked kind of funny like ben handlogten so they are worthless as players and human beings

he had a better field goal percentage than williams in his only year here.

again, i'm not arguing that he was good, but the common reaction of "WHOA HE WAS SO BAD" to palacio or any ex-jazz player is silly and shortsighted.

To answer your question: Easily the best, easily. You can say that it has only been 19 games, but I would argue the opposite. He is on a brand new team that counts on the PG being very intelligent and making multiple reads. I would say this is just the beginning, if anything he will just get more comfortable. I personally think that the last 6 games are more than less of what we will come to expect and love.

Enough said

Good god that brings up horrible memories. Palacio was by far one of my least favorite back up PG's we have ever had since I watched the team. I would say Arroyo who I could not stand but he was not a back up most of his time here.

...he has a chance to be Utah's best backup PG since Howard Eisley.

He's ALREADY that. He's got a chance to be the best backup since Stockton backed up Rickey Green.

*edit* OK, maybe I was a little hasty. He probably hasn't passed Fisher yet on the list of backup PGs, but he's well on his way.

Mark Jackson the Cancer?

I can't imagine Watson will sustain the impact and production he's been bringing the past 5 games or so, but there's no way he does anything but learn more and get more comfortable as the year goes on.

Milt was alright... he had some moments... but it was mostly like that mixtape above... turnovers and a crooked jumpshot

I love Watson on this roster. He's a solid backup/rotation guard.
