One nice thing: at some point in the year I was worried about the suns, cavs, knicks, pelicans, wizards, and bulls.
I am no longer worried about any of those teams so the tank could definitely be worse.

I love Love because he completely slammed the Lakers by saying Minnesota had a better team now and had better pieces in place. It was widely assumed he'd go to LA. Now, not so sure. LA is not your daddy's team anymore. The Next Gen Buss'ers are not as respected nor as adept at running a franchise as was Dr. Jerry. They're going to luck into a top-3 pick, but Kobe breaks down every season now and is nearing retirement. Not an automatic guarantee the Lakers rise from the ashes to become a championship contender. Once more celebs defect to the Clippers, there may be a sea change in LA. Clippers set to become the LA team of the next decade.

As an FYI, my daughter now says kids at her school make fun of those who wear Laker jerseys. It's hilarious! She used to try to embarass me by telling the other children I was a Jazz fan and hated the Lakers. Now she won't wear her youth sports jersey to school because it's purple and gold. At least it doesn't say Lakers, but I didn't have a choice of colors as the coach. I did make her take #32 in honor of Karl Malone. And she's a PF.
 
I agree with the Lakers assessment.

People assumed that the howard, kobe, nash trio was going all the way to the playoffs but ended up barely barely getting into the playoffs! These guys are reaching an age where your body will just fail on your at the highest level of basketball. Kobe is 35? People think Kobe coming back next season is going to make the Lakers a playoff team? I think Kobe won't do ANYTHING. He will probably get hurt again and if he doesn't get hurt he won't play like Kobe the great. He has been out of basketball now for literally 2 seasons.
