I found that burks career percentage from 3 point line is 35.2..... wade is 29.1 for his career from 3
This year burks is shooting 35.6 from 3.... wade at 22 years old shot 30.2 percent from 3

Btw that is not ME being a homer..... apparently there is a website called basketballreference.com that made up those homer numbers

Edit: I dont know how to look up midrange game numbers so i will trust that Cy is right about that one and wade is a beast from mid range.
Burks is improving though.

You are probly a couple notches below zutard on the homer scale, but I know you have compared Burks and Wade before and that is insane.

I dont see a problem with comparing thier styles of play..... Wade is obviously better, and i have never said he isn't
all i said is that burks plays similar to wade and has SOME of the same skills. (not all of the same skills)

1. I think burks is good at getting to the rim and finishing. I think wade was great at that

2. I think burks and wade are both below average outside shooters.

3. I think burks is good at drawing fouls and getting to the line. I think wade is one of the best ever at that.

Those are really the main comparisons that i make when comparing the two. Are any of those statements untrue?

Because they both attack the hoop relentlessly, play the same position, get the line at a high rate, play the same position, and both struggle with thier outside shot.

We could compare burks to monta ellis as well if that makes you feel better but i always enjoy comparing young talented players to the best.

I just think when people use player comps they are saying the two players are alike, not just one or two parts of their game.

No im not saying he is comparable to wade.... im saying he plays a similar style to wade.
Yes i would call reggie evans a poor mans dennis rodman and compare thier play styles.

But reggie evans is not 22 years old getting his first taste of playing time.

Burks is so young and inexperienced and improving at such a fast rate that i just think its more fun to compare him to wade than stephon marbury
Its fun to hope and set high expectations.
Remember when favors was compared to chandler with amare offense? He isnt even close to that, but it was fun to hope for it right?
