Game #54. Jazz at Blazers

Very good game by Hayward. Only took 11 shots. Finished with 17/7/7/3. Played under control. And, as a result, Burke was more involved.

My own casual observations when I attend games is that the Jazz offensive sets rarely run a play for the purpose of getting Hayward a shot, and that most of his shots come off his own playmaking, which is when he appears to really struggle. In the past, G has been good on the screen and curl shot, but I can't recall the last time this was run for him. Are my observations off?

AND, for the love of all that is Holy in this world, why the hell is Jefferson still playing more minutes than Burks? I mean, what more does Burks have to do to earn the PT???

Kanter starts = Jazz lose.
That stats continue to be verified.
Wierd, just wierd.

but it was a good day for da tank!

Jefferson might have to go missing...

I'm pretty happy with this game overall. Hayward FINALLY had a pretty good game. Burke looked pretty good too and Kanter showed up. Pretty confused as to why Burks got so few minutes. Really just wanna see the core5(or whatever they're called) start a few games together to see how it would work. Mainly happy to see Hayward outta his slump, for one game at least

Kanter only really starts when Favors is out which means the team is short handed. Not that difficult to understand nor does it means it's Kanter's fault.

We are into march and still wonder what the C5 would look like playing together.

2013-2014 season? An even greater epic fail than 2012-2013 and 2011-2012.

I'm so glad we played Raja Bell, Josh Howard, Randy Foye, Paul Millsap, Richard Jefferson, Brandon Rush, and Marvin Williams over our young players. I really see these vets listed above as being in our long term plans and contributing greatly to our franchise in the future......
