Troop Withdrawal?

Things will fall apart in Afghanistan with 5 years, probably. If Obama is still President, it will be blamed on him.
 
If Hillary gets elected, she'd get blamed. If a republican is elected, he will get the left blame, Obama will get the right. As usual.

I think it is essential to have presence in this country. Without it will fall apart in less than 5 years, and I wouldn't have cared if it does if it wasn't that terrorist thing. And I do think Obama is partially to blame for failing to secure the agreement with Karzai.

To say things will fall apart implies things were together to begin with. The US Military dug out a small trench for Karzai and his cronies in Kabul - the rest of the country is the same **** hole it was 13 years ago.

The President is asking for a plan from the pentagon for a complete troop pull out by the end of the year. Fantastic news, we never should have stayed.

I support the move. My understanding is that Mr. Obama is making the decision as a result of Mr. Karzai refusing to sign a long term security agreement. So, **** him.

How many American lives must be lost or changed as a result of this endless war? There's a saying in foreign policy circles that goes, "Afghanistan is where super powers go to die." It couldnt be more accurate. Other than using nuclear armaments, the ground battles are for the most part unwinnable as a result of the terrain in that part of the world.

Anyway, the sooner the better.

Why do we need to have presence in this country? What is accomplished? In regards to the long term agreement, how is Obama to blame?
 
One can only hope!

How many more lives need to be wasted in that toilet?

The British couldn't fix it. Russia couldn't fix it. What the hell made us think that we could?
