Is this Huvr board thing real?

lol obviously fake as ****. Interested to see what these marketing dollars are being put to use for doe.

This is what it takes to do a MagLev train:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maglev

If you put a huge magnet in the pavement, and set up very powerful electromagnets on the hover board, you might get it to take off. It would not be stable with just those two magnets shown on the video, you'd need an array of magnets around the edge and a sophisticated stabilization routine.

The video is fake.

FX are cool...acting is terrible.

Obviously fake...... easiest way to tell is when it raised up on a couple of them (TO being one of them) the riders balance went way off to the point where there is no way that they wouldn't have fallen to the ground

I wish. Now there would be something that could get people outside more. It seems like all the entertainment innovation that comes out these days involves sitting on your *** and looking at a screen.

Surfskating is actually pretty cool though and has gotten a lot better over the past few years. If you guys haven't tried that, you should rent one next time you're in California or something and give a try.

"In March 2014, a company called HUVr claimed to have developed the technology for hoverboards and released a video advertising the product on YouTube featuring Christopher Lloyd, Tony Hawk, Moby, Terrell Owens and others riding hoverboards through a parking lot in Los Angeles. Special effect failures such as incomplete wire removal have conclusively identified the video as a hoax or joke, traced to the Funny or Die website through identification of the cast and public references to the project"

If they had only used Tony Hawk it would have been slightly believable. One of the greatest skaters ever, assume has great balance and could learn to hoverboard fairly easily.

Then they get Moby. LOL. No way.

Sarcasm? Tony Hawk is in the video.......

Did they not teach you reading comprehension in elementary school? I will bold, underline, and italicize the key word in the thought so you can understand better.

Shoulda been a vid in a lab type setting with Tony Hawk struggling for a while on it, them tweaking it and re tweaking it so that it got just right, then him slowly getting the hang of it but still not just able to fly 15 feet in the air.

The first time people ride skateboards they don't just start ripping it up. Make it a little more real.

Also, don't have Christopher Lloyd act like this is the crowning achievement of his life and that he should care deeply about it just because he played a character in a movie once that woulda cared about it.

Also Also, I wish I could be mean to people on facebook without everyone seeing it and thinking I'm a jerk lol. People are legit excited about this! Hahahaha

Christopher Lloyd is finally big-time now. He's on the BYUtv show Granite Flats.

Would have sounded better if you said "If they had just used Tony Hawk in the video"
