*Official 2014 NFL Draft Thread*

Hantbro, I'm gonna be starting a Fantasy Football Developmental Dynasty league later in the Summer, you have a regular NFL squad but also a Developmental team with college dudes.

You keep your whole team every year and each Summer we have a draft where any dude not currently in the NFL is avail.

Gonna be my first league like this, will be way fun to track College dudes more closely and use them i trades and stuff.

Are you giving me an invite or asking for advice?

I'm good with either.

Goddamnit!

Yes, please!

College football is easily my favorite sport. Imma crush y'all.

Nice.

I know its nerdy, but how fun would it be watching the combine right now with some of your college guys looking to get drafted so you can call em up to your NFL squad?

My bro just told me Jake Murphy ran a 4.47 in the 40. Can someone conferm this. If true Murphy just made himself a ton of money.

2014 NFL Season, Draft and Free Agency

What moves is your team taking with its roster? What are your team's needs? Who should they target in the draft?

Denver is going to release Champ Bailey. That will save them 10 million in cap room. I agree with the move as Bailey is past his prime. Hope Denver lets him retire a Bronco one day.

It is also rumored that they might let Decker and Moreno go in free agency, resign Rodgers-Cromartie and Shaun Phillips and focus on pass rushing.

Names that have been mentioned as Denver targets are D'Qwell Jackson (ILB), Jairus Byrd (S) and Darrelle Revis (CB).

The Rams just released Cortland Finnegan and a couple of other injured veteran O-linemen will likely get axed soon to create cap space. I see them bringing Finnegan back at a better number. I don't see them going after any big names in free agency this year but I am watching the draft rumors intently, since they get the #2 pick thanks to Mike Shannahan. I D-End rotation of Robert Quinn, Chris Long, and Jadaveon Clowney sounds pretty good. Or having Greg Robinson anchoring the line for ten years could be great. Or actually having a big #1 receiver makes me drool. Then after all that, they still have the #13 pick.

Sometimes when I post about the Rams, I feel like homeytennis pimping basketball scrubs who will never amount to anything.

ESPN is hyping the Rams this year. Says they will make the playoffs.

I've taken that ride before. They dropped me off in the desert with no clothes, food, or water. I somehow made my way out of the hell and felt cheated, abused, and beaten up. But now there's a new ride so I'm all aboard and I'll get on it after this ride I'm on with the Jazz, the one where they're tanking the season so they can draft Parker/Wiggins/Embiid.

Denver has been very busy so far in free agency. They resigned Caldwell (WR) right before FA opened up. Then they went out and signed TJ Ward (S) from the Browns. Then the stole Aqib Talib (CB) from the Patriots.

I hope they resign Knighton. Add to all that a healthy Miller, Harris, Wolfe and Vickerson and the Broncos should be much better on D next year (I hope anyways).

Still want to see Denver sign another pass rusher and shore up the O line.
