Jazz player character development tour

Y'all have probably been witnessing the Jazz field trips on twitter or such. Two days ago they went to the Capitol building and the White House, today they went touring the nba headquarters in NY.

Just wondering what people's opinions of the tours are.

I guess I figure it is a nice break for them in a season full of disappointment, but would they be better served practicing? Idk.

NBA was pleasantly shocked to see entire Jazz team/staff visit league's HQ in NYC. I'm told it might've been first time a team's done that.

Pleasantly shocked enough to rig the lottery for us?

Going to their office is like us being one of those Humane Society commercials that just can't be ignored.

I hope JLiii was front and center just so Silver could see the type of quality free agents we can attract.

I laughed. Nailed it.

It was not a field trip. Corbin actually had to face the NBA investigatory board to answer questions about Utah's performance against Milwaukee and assure them Utah is not losing games on purpose.

Also, I hear Biedrins and Lucas applied for Sanitation Engineer jobs while there and Lowe inquired about a staff accountant opening.

Jazz usually spend their time clubbing and getting **** faced in NYC - this sounds somewhat less exciting.

LOL. I believe it was Sloan's last year coaching - I remember a story where Deron Williams supposedly called the team's road manager at 4AM to let him know that almost the entire team was still out partying the morning before a game against The Knicks.

Guess things have changed a bit.

I don't recall, was CJ miles on that team?
