Ty's Coaching

From Sap: "It’s kind of similar to Sloan's, but Ty’s still finding his way. He wants to have his own niche,” Millsap said. “He doesn’t want to be a copycat. He’s still trying to find his way of coaching, his style of coaching, and eventually he will because he’s a smart guy.” Can Ty continue to learn in the DLeague?

millsap is part of the nba business, so he's saying the right words, unless he wants to end like raja bell

the truth is that corbin really sucks

After almost 4 seasons he still didn't find his way and style of coaching....he could be a nice guy but he is turning out to be incompetent for the coaching role. The waiting time is over, we badly need another coach.

Do you just want him in the dleague so he can be part of your dleague updates?

Absolutely. I could say the Rio Grande Valley Vipers have this sleeper of a coach names Ty. He likes to play old guys and doesn't quite have a rotation figured out but when he does Katy bar the door.

How do you evaluate your players when your coach is still learning?

Rookie players need a vet coach whose system you agree with. Come on DL.

This is great news. The last thing I want in a coach is someone rigid to the old styles of play. I love watching Ty's experiments every other game and all the new stuff he tries out. It's one of the few things making this boring season entertaining for me.

Frankly, its refreshing to hear someone with a different take than all the Corbin bashing sheep.

Agreed
I love hearing from people who think micheal jordan sucked and people who think hitler was actually a really kind and loving person.

Going against popular and obvious opinion rules

Wow, you comparing Corbin to the greatest NBA player ever, and one of the greatest villains in the history of the world? You are putting him up there in some elite company.

I wouldn't go that far, at this point in his career I would say he's doing some good things, and makes some mistakes but is trying to get better. Corbin is just ahead of his time. He might one day be compared to JRR Tolkien, Van Gogh, Thoreau, Galileo, and El Greco... except hopefully he doesn't die before his genius is accepted.

On a side note, I wouldn't just jump in with popular opinions just because you want to be cool and hip. You might want to think about the issue at hand and the direction of the lemmings before you go all in. Just a thought.
