Yea I am concerned about Embiid's back issue too. I certainly would consider it as a negative and would not draft him number #1. His coach from HS should shut up though because he is costing the kid money.

After thinking and watching a bit of college BB, I am finally ready to make Wiggins the Jazz #1 pick (if the get the chance).

I still would be fine with Parker but if he can't guard SFs then I have a problem with him being #1. I think Wiggins fits perfectly for the Jazz he can be the starting SF and Hayward can be moved to the starting SG and Burks can come off the bench or some combination of that. I also think Wiggins can play SG too. Having Hayward/Wiggins/Burks is a very athletic trio and would be very interchangeable. I like the possibility a lot.
 
embiid's back problem is a concern. just look at the past player's with back problems. it will always come back. if i have #1 pick, i'll go safer route. it's not like embiid is a guaranteed success. he won't even avg 15pts in his first season.

Embiid will fall out of the top-5. Just too risky.
He's already being projected as a top pick largely on his potential. Now he's got a medical red flag.

Doubt he falls out of of the top-5. It will depend on what the team's medical doctors say about it. We have way too little information to speculate on it to say how far he will drop, or if he will even drop.
 
His "back issue" is a ruse to scare off any undesirable team, probably Milwaukee. He will get a physical by teh nba at the combine, but backs are difficult to diagnos, so He will submit to a more complete physical with the Lakers and Boston jsut before the draft. Players and agents got to play the few cards they have.

it can happen. Nerlens Noel fell hard too with his knee injury. and sounds like this back issue has been ongoing problems for him.

this is a big red flag for me. honestly i would not touch him in top 5. nothing is more devastating to a franchise then picking a great potential superstar who can't play because of the injury.

We aren't drafting 3 players, at least 3 players who will be on our 15 man roster.
