How much should we give up for a #1 option?

It seems quite likely that the Jazz will end up drafting somewhere between the 5th and 8th pick in the draft. That being the case, we'd likely miss out on Jabari, Exum, Wiggins, and Emiid. Perhaps even Randle if we are out of the top 5.

Watching the last few games it has become so apparent that we need a star in the 4th quarter. We need a guy that can flat out score. Let's say you believe Jabari, Wiggins, Or Exum is a legit #1 option. How much would you be willing to give up.

Say, for instance, that Orlando comes to you the day of the draft and says Hey we have the #3 pick and you have the number 6 pick. We'll give you the 3rd pick in the draft for the 6th pick, Kanter, GSW pick 2014, GSW pick 2017, and your pick next year. Would you do it? Would it be worth it. Just imagine.

Starters:
Trey Burke
Gordon Hayward
Jabari Parker
Derrick Favors
Rudy Gobert

Bench:
Alec Burks
Raul Neto
Jeremy Evans
Marvin Williams

Personally, I am somewhat conflicted because I like Kanter but at the same time, we need a star and I don't think we have one yet.

Discuss what you would be willing to give up for a shot at Wiggins, Parker, or Exum.

I'd give my soul to have you banned for life.

Logically convince me that this would be a good choice and that it would be worth it. Perhaps you are just engaging in the business of hyperbole and if so, I'm okay with that. You usually entertain me, and sometimes I think your conduct is all a pretense; A harmless enterprise out of the mundane and into something different. Maybe in real life, you are a very pleasant person who is nice to be around. I hope this is the case.

Regardless of how well thought out your argument is in relation to why it would be worth your soul to have me banned for life, I represent something more powerful. I'm just a normal everyday guy who loves the Jazz and uses this place as a venue to articulate my thoughts. Some days I do a better job than others but nevertheless, I carry the spirit of fandom.

I've tried to appeal to your better nature but to no avail. I'm still so confused as to why you verbally attack me because it defies logic. I mean, to disagree is one thing and that's cool but to hate someone for a belief or opinion they have? That makes no sense to me. This is part of the problem with the world we live in. People are discriminated against, persecuted, and dehumanized because of blind intolerance.

Anyway, I believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity and if you are serious in regards to your interminable indignation towards me, I am sorry and I hope one day you rise to the level of a good man.

The Jazz could have a 30% chance of getting into the top 3 via the lotto. Otherwise, I guess we're looking at Smart, Vonleh and Aaron Gordon.

Would love Vonleh. Think he'd fit in with the new stretch 4 fad in the nba, while still being able hit from outside creating space for Favors, while also being able to guard bigger 4's.

Getting a #1 option player is not that easy.
How many teams already have a legit #1 option player?
Exactly what is a legit #1 option player?
Many of the lottery teams are also looking for that #1 option player.
Getting one is guesswork through the draft.
