this is the craziest thing i've ever heard. does KD ever once looked faster than westbrook to you? in what world KD is considered fast? KD is fast for his 6ft 9 frame, but he is not even top 50 when it comes to pure speed in nba.

pre surgery derrick rose is built for speed. he was the fastest player i've seen since AI. just look at his body type. compact, 6ft 2 with twitchy muscle from head to toe. dude like rose and westbrook are built for speed. these body types put up 4.4 40 dash. much faster 10s and 20s. KD? he would be lucky if he runs 4.8 40!

Derrick Rose isn't 7 feet tall and at the same time could win a gymnastic olympic competition against 12 year old chinese kids and can do straight line drives against whoever he likes. He takes longer roads to the basket and while he has more velocity the time span he needs to get to the basket is longer because of that.
Just think about different players and different play styles. Dante Exum has simply a very unique body for a backcourt playmaker. And the similarity is that they attack the basket hard and have a very efficient first step. They just do it in a different way.

idiotic argument. by your logic, prime david robinson would be the fastest baller ever. dude was legit 7ft and he ran the court like gazelle.
