This month there's a lot of people watching college basketball. So naturally a lot of them will casually use this google page to search for "Nba mock draft" or something like this. Then they find nbadraft and other already know it and check it out casually.
And when they do something highly unconventional people will remember and tell their friends and so on...

When I'm swamped with CA$H, I'm definitely setting up: www.NBAdraftRealLegit.com

For Realz.

Marcus is not Smart, he went back to college, numbers didn't go up, will drop at least 4-5 spots in the draft and OKST won't win the NCAA.

All he had to show for was lying to the public that the fan called him the N word.

Do you have a link to this accusation? I never heard Smart say that the guy called him the N word. I know the media was speculating that the N word was said but I never heard Smart say that.

You realize you're getting trolled by tk³ right now?

Well either Smart is a liar, or he has a fantastic imagination. I'll never understand how you can equate The N word to the phrase "a piece of crap".

“Coach, he called me a ******!”

John Holcomb heard Oklahoma State guard Marcus Smart say those words last Saturday night. Holcomb heard Smart say that just moments after his now infamous contretemps with Texas Tech fan Jeff Orr. Holcomb, the radio analyst for Oklahoma State men’s basketball team, was not reading Smart’s lips. He saw Smart say it. He heard Smart say it.

Holcomb stands by that observation. Emphatically. “As I told my play-by-play partner, Dave Hunziker, ‘Dave, it was so plain,'” says Holcomb, who doubles as the sports director at Tulsa’s CBS affiliate, KOTV. “That was a can’t-miss thing for me.”

“Our broadcast position is right next to the Oklahoma State bench,” says Holcomb, who is in his sixth season as the team’s color analyst on the Cowboy Sports Network, “and during a game I’ll jot down significant plays. So when they turned the ball over I had my head down, writing that had happened. Then I heard the crowd noise swell.”

When Holcomb looked up, he spotted one of the officials, Doug Sirmons, approach the scorer’s table to indicate a technical foul on Smart. Holcomb heard Smart tell Oklahoma State coach Travis Ford, “I had no choice, he pushed the guy.” Having not witnessed the encounter between Smart and Orr, Holcomb at first assumed Sermons was referring to a Texas Tech player.

Holcomb, 49, was wearing his headset when an obviously upset Smart retreated to the Oklahoma State bench. Still, he is certain that he both saw and heard Smart say, “Coach, he called me a ******!”

Anyone listening to the broadcast would have heard Holcomb tell Hunziker, ‘“Dave, Marcus said, ‘He just called me the N-word.’”

So you have Marcus Smart who apparently according to a report directly told his coach what happened in the situation. From my POV it's safe to say that the level of trust between Smart and his coach must be reasonable as Smart turned down a sure fire top3 draft spot last year to get coached by him again in order to become a better basketball player.

Then you have a lunatic fan who according to former Texas Tech players goes frequently over the line with his verbal abuses against his own and opposite teams. This individual had multiple days to formulate a statement and wait for all the media tapes to find out if there's something compromising in it.
I don't know about Texas laws about verbal racist assaults and if it could have any consequence for someone.
But this fan proceeding to apologize and reveal what word(s) he used to attack Marcus Smart was incredibly wrong IMO. The phrase he says he used is even a phrase I'd argue to hear very seldom as I consume a lot of American media.

I'd say this fan had way more to lose if he indeed used the n-word. I don't find him credible, but I accept that you side with that dude even though his response doesn't seem trustworthy to me.

But I also understand that OK State tried to stay out of it after it happened as Marcus Smart couldn't have gotten a moral victory after shoving that fan and making this a nation wide media racism in sports case would hurt the NCAA business as it would encourage other athletes to share their experiences. But that's only my thought process behind that situation

I like marcus smart, when i watch him play i see a guy who plays hard and will do anything for a win. I don't care if he lied about what was said, and i'm definitely not bothered by the fact that he pushed the guy, it shows more passion than i've seen from anyone on our team, it's misdirected sure, but listening to him speak in interviews and what have you, he seems like a nice guy who made a mistake in the heat of the moment, he's definitely not going to be on a demarcus cousins level. and even if he is a liar, who cares? i'm not looking for an accountant i'm looking for a ball player.

I thought you were going to provide me with Smart saying it to a reporter. So how do you know that Smart didn't think he said the N word and thus he repeated that to the coach. Maybe that is what he heard or thought he heard. And the fan is suppose to be believed why?

Again, you don't know nor do I know if he actually lied. Go ahead hate Smart all you want but I really don't think you know the real story. Not that I do either but it certainly wouldn't keep me from drafting him if he is the BPA. Personally, I would pick him around #7 and not at #4.
