the ever-changing feelings about Enes Kanter

OG, vermin will not stand for any jazz fanz supporting and defending kanter

Next year will be very interesting. Of course I like Kanter but now I am also trying to understand even user like Vermin. Enes is very inconstant and i have still no idea whether he will beasting next year or playing like this year. His mid-range in the last 5 games is crap and he is still "excited to take threes". I began to wonder if that would be efficient for the Jazz. Kanter has to gain stamina in the offseason thats for sure. He seems to be pretty exhausted every time when he plays more than 30 minutes. Hope with better physical condition he will have less up and downs...

His recent mid range struggles are an abnormality, not the norm. He did receive a very nasty bruise on the bicep of his shooting arm, which could be the reason for the struggling jumper. That and the season wearing him down because he couldn't properly condition his body last off-season.

Even if Kanter shoots 30% from 3, it will be efficient for the Jazz. A big shooting a 3 at a ****ty percentage is far more efficient than a guard hitting 3's at a decent percentage because of the big body a big draws out to the perimeter. I don't advocate him doing it every posession, but if he can prove to the league that he can hit them 35% of the time, that's enough that they'll come guard him because it's like him shooting close to 50% on 2's.

I found a random stat that I don't know what it means....

Kanter has a team worse - 437 on the season. Meaning while he was on the floor the jazz have been out scored by 437 points.

In a season when the team sucks does a stat like that have any meaning?

No meaning.

He has played in a plethora of rotations. Including JLiii, Thomas, Tinsley, etc.

He's had a new role, young, lack of experience, ****ty coach and rotations, been jerked around, etc. Not sure you can place much meaning on stats this season.

If Kanter has a stat like that by the end of next year, then yes I will probably be worried.

I don't know how so many people can blame Kanter's mishaps on the coaching staff. I love the guy too, but damn! Blind lead the blind I guess.

Kanter's issues are just inexperience, and his low BB IQ at his age. As I have stated before. I think his "benchings" as some of you like to call it, were a great thing. Cause he is playing better now then he was at the beginning of the year. He I believe, is starting to realize he can't half *** on one side of the ball. Or bull his way through every play. And I am seeing the team play better with him. And that excites me for next year.
