The Trib had a story on him this afternoon. The team has an option to pick him up, but I think I'm ready to vote him off the island. His stats are mediocre at best and it seems like he's not that great a defensive player either. There was a reason he wasn't drafted and was waiting for the DLeague to start. Heck Lester Hudson at least had a couple of great stat games and this guy's career high in the show is like 13? I think the Jazz need to move in a new direction and it's not keep JLIII.

If Neto comes he'll probably be forced out, though as a #3 PG (and that's what the Jazz always seem to carry) it seems like you could do a lot worse. As a #2, eh, there's better options out there.

He is great as a back-up point. He has descent length and I think DL will keep him for next year.

I really like Garrett, he seems to play hard and can push the ball. Maybe I like him a lot because I've been use to old slow back up PG's for the Jazz. He's not the best, but if he got with a good coach/system I'd expect him to improve a lot. I hope they bring him back

On many nights he's been at least as good a Burke.

Not understanding the dis-like. I think you definitely bring him back.

He's really good at shooting the 3 ball.

His 3 ball stats are good but his field goal percentage has dropped below the Mendoza line and I guess I can see him being kept as the 3rd point guard but I think the Jazz are in real trouble next year if he's playing major minutes. I know its unfair to compare him to Kendall Marshall and LA's been a grease fire this year but Marshall is putting up decent numbers and was available when the Jazz needed a guy.

.

On many nights, that's not saying much.

If the Jazz bring Neto over, I'm fine with bringing him back as our 3rd string. I want to see Neto and Trey duke it out for the starting role.

Having said that though, there are some really decent PG options for that 2nd or 3rd spot that will be around with the Warriors pick, and our second rounder. I really like:

Elfrid Payton.
V Miciic
Zach Lavine (so much potential)

I definitely think DG is a keeper, I was pleasantly surprised by his play in the limited playing time he was given. Not like he's going to be asking for Hayward type money, so I say it's a low risk move to keep him.

Garrett, Neto and Burke can all fight it out for the two backup PG spots. We need a starter who can actually shoot, drive and make plays.

JLIII is on the payroll next year. If they don't dump JLII then Garrett will probably be gone. They need to get a better second PG.
