Compare Garrett's stats to Mike Harris. Harris was given the boot and is now in China. I think if either is near the Jazz team next season, the tank continues.

I think DG is a bit more serviceable than MH but maybe I just want to believe that.

Starting DG may help the tank roll, too.
 
He's fine as a third string combo guard, playing the one or the two based on needs. No need to fuss over the tenth guy on the roster, and even better, he's still pretty young so he could be a staple for a long time. More important is to get Burke to play like a starter, not like a deer in the headlights that jumps (makes shots) at the last possible minute when it's too late. It will be fun when Neto comes over to see the battle for time. I feel a little bad for Garrett, but hey, if you are better than the foreign rookie, than prove it.

Seems like the Jazz MO is when they sign minimum contract guys is to provide a completely non-guaranteed second year.

Malcolm Thomas, Lucas III, Garrett and Clark are all have unguaranteed second years.

I agree. I am a dolt and you are both calm and respectful. Calling people idiots is an extremely effective way to improve their lives. I thank you for this and will reflect on it for years as a defining moment in my personal development. You are so cool when you use the double exclamation point in such a calm way (are you channeling James Dean?). And the way you use "there" instead of "their" has the double advantage of demonstrating your creative literary genius as well as snubbing your nose at second grade teachers everywhere.

Garrett is a great third PG option, and honestly, he hasn't been a bad second option. I've liked what he has done this year. I think the Jazz bring him back.
