Jazz claim Erik Murphy off waivers (and waive Biedrins)

The way I see it, we have a bunch if ungaruanteed contracts for next year. Lots of flexibility and cheap guys.

Why do we always turn guys loose before we give them a chance? He could have pushed us over the top.

So how does this new guy work into Ty's new found 8 man rotation?

If my nothing else, the jazz should have a killer summer league team.

Now we got both.

They can entertain each other on the bench next year.

Vetzz!

Yeah, cuz 2nd round picks claimed off the waivers should play over actual NBA players.

Young so must be talented and good!!!

Lindsey picked up another asset for nothing, Murphy has an un guaranteed contract for next season.

You know this team could be interesting if they wanted. But they're not, because they are inexplicably stuck on the 8 man rotation right now, with some players wedged into roles and starting spots.

I would like to see mr. Murphy play with Thomas or Gobert and some of the regular a guards.

That's a coaching issue. Won't change until they move on from Ty Corbin. I love the kid's shot, and I like that he's played for Billy Donovan and Tom Thibodeau. He might not be a great defender, but hopefully he's pretty sound and solid in his role on team defense.

one may be a jack of all trades but that won't cut it if you are master of none.
Mr. Murphy seems to have at least one NBA-transferable skill; i.e. shooting. Hailing from an established program like Gators, too.
me likey

THREE buzzer beaters for Aaron Harrison in five games. Here are THE LAST two.

Wish they would have waived Beans a long time ago. It's encouraging to see that they're willing to eat the rest of that contract just to get another young guy and take an extended look at him. I'm fine with the move and hope that he shows as much potential as Ian Clark has in limited minutes. Jazz are going to have a young bench next year.
Haven't they been eating his contract all year, as he can't even get in any garbage minutes. To me it's the same as if they had already had a roster spot open.
Oops. Wrong thread.

lol. Have you even been to bed yet? Goooo wildcats!!!! Hope they win, so Randle doesn't even think about staying at Kentucky, and the others coming out will give us a better chance at a decent player with the GS pick.

I'm not a San Antonio fan. I don't want my Jazz to copycat the Spurs. I want a GM with his own original blueprints to make a successful team. We don't need a Bonner player. If anything we should just develop Kanters ability to dial up from behind the arch. I'm worried about Dennis Lindsey and his decision making abilities. We don't need to pick up all these SanAntionio type cast offs.
