What's new

My vote for the next Utah Jazz head coach is......

And getting Stockton would obviously be a huge boost for the organization. The fans would be excited again and likely put up with several more years of losing with Stockton at the helm.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Jazz haven't already reached out to Stockton just to gauge his interest.

Longabardi. You guys keep ignoring this, but I'd put my money on him

History with Lindsay? Check.
Amazing defensive coach? Check.
Good with analytics? Check.
Forward thinking coach? Check.
Fit in with the Jazz payroll? Check.

I agree that this one makes more and more sense the more I'm learning about him. What I wouldn't give to see Itah play good defense? As long as the next coach either preaches (and teaches) tough defense or opens up the offense and runs. . . I'll be happy.

Too bad we didn't just promote Jeff Hornacek and then let him hire Mike Longabardi (defensive guru), Jerry Sichting (guard help and up-tempo offense), Brad Jones (everywhere man and player development), Karl Malone (assistant bigs coach) and Alex Jensen (more player development.) I think we'd be pretty damn good with that coaching staff.
