Embiid officially declares for the draft

Embiid is dope, but he is a project. Offensively, the starting frontcourt of Embiid and Favors would struggle to score for at least a couple years.

Everybody that declares is good for us. Embiid is a pretty big project literally and in the traditional sense. I'm not convinced that he'll ever become a great offensive scorer like Hakeem but the defensive talents are there.

I don't think he would be very effective paired with Favors in terms of getting us points in the paint.
 
Playoffs in the deep west..lmao...doubt it. Not with a guy who struggles to score and needs to gain some weight first against the big boy centers in the west. Emblied will be on some peoples poster next year. Just to darn skinny right now. Jazz wilol hit a homerun with that second first round pick and will get a quality player with 2nd round pick

When his contract comes up, Kanter isn't going to sign with the Jazz to be a backup. In his mind, I'm sure he sees himself as a starter. I see him as one also. If we were to draft Embiid, that's a sure sign FO has decided Kanter isn't in future plans.
