Yes, he's skilled. Spurs players are skilled.

I constructed this metaphor based on the idea that an elite scorer such as KD could be considered a Locksmith because Locksmiths unlock locks and this works because, as is common, defensive players are called lock down defenders.

Thus the name Locksmith dismantler

So a Locksmith dismantler is in the realm above lock down defenders? And Gary Harris is one of these? Do you realize that if he had the potential to be that type of defender in teh NBA to go along with his current skillset he'd be a top five pick? Gary Harris is not representative of your poorly constructed term. He doesn't have the size or athleticism to be such a player.

seriously, your points are well made. You could make a great argument he's a bit undersized for the 2 spot. Yet, I think he'll be pretty good defensively in the pros. I envision him as a Lindsey Hunter (when he was with the pistons when they won the title in 04)/ Wesley Matthews (I am still swooning over his D on Melo in the playoff series when Memo tore his Achilles. and You could make a case that Wes Matthews is a bit undersized.) type defender
 
I think harris will be a good defender but his shot is bothersome and against bigger defenders i think he will struggle for a few years.
 
With that Golden State pick if I was a Utah fan I would want GRob3rd. Has bloodline,great athlete, and a decent shot. Will perform better in the nba then he did in college. Will be a better pro then his Canadian teammate also
