Aaron Gordon..Why do you want him?

Why are so many posters wanting him with our first pick? Do you want a power forward that has no back to the basket game? Do you want him as a small forward that shoots 29.2 % from the three point line? Do you want him at any position when he has 1.5 assist to 1.4 turnovers, and shoots 45.3 % from the free throw line. What good does it do to have explosiveness when you can't shoot or pass? I just don't get the love some of you have for him.​

Not me, I'd rather have Exum, Randle or Vonleh before I start considering Gordon.


I would take Gordon over Smart though.

He has some good potential, I'm not exactly sure of what I think of him though...

For me it's defense, he's a good passer averaging 2 assists a game, he has decent handles and he's shown flashes on the offensive end which he can obviously stand to improve. He averages 42.2 from the line. Shooting is something nearly anyone can improve on as long as they have a good shooting coach. He'll definitely play the 4 on whichever team he ends up on. 35.6% 3 point shooting is good for a PF. Gordon is going to be a terrific 4 in the NBA. Book it bitches.

His shot isn't broken, so there is a lot of room for improvement with his mechanics.

Shot a good percentage from deep on a little over an attempt per game, showing that he could possibly develop a spot up 3pt game good enough to keep defenses honest even if he never becomes a great all-around shooter.

Possibly highest Bball IQ of anyone in the lottery.
