He was the one harassing people with his neg reps which were made merely because we disagreed with him, not because our posts were pointless.

Franklin can certainly lay down some basketball instense discussion (certainly better than I can), something currently in low supply on this board. And while I do not agree with him I think you are being a little over the top.

For example:

Your neg rep comments. That is the entire point of neg reps...

It might have been on your Kanter campaign, can't remember now. But no apologies needed towards me. You know I said numerous times that you're one of my fav posters here. (you were last on my sig list but you knew it was sarcasm)

I don't know the story between you and Eenie-Meenie, I was watching the board from a distance for the last half year or so. But like I said from that distance, it seemed like you were Corbin's chevalier.

Thanks franklin for all the hard work you've put in. Your bravery for posting in the jazz forum, even though it's butt-awful, cannot be overstated.

Why do we have an official franklin appreciation thread? Is he gone? Has he been banned?
I thought we gave him a pretty good chance here on Jazzfanz. But frankly, the quality just wasn't there on most nights. Yes, there were flashes...just not enough. So if Jason decided the board needed to go in a different direction, I will fully support him in that decision.
 
Strange as it is to some people, you can appreciate someone or something while they are still there.

Interestingly enough, I know a Roy Franklin. Bowled a 300 for my team.

My point on the neg repping was that the only reason for it was disagreement, no substantive rebuttal of someone's point. In other words, he just negged you if he didn't like you. That isn't how neg reps are supposed to be used. He's the only one who's neg repped me in the last year, except GVC negged my Happy Days Are Here Again thread after the announcement that Corbin wasn't coming back. And Franklin negged me a lot -- many more times than I negged him, and I only negged him because he started negging me. This is my last comment about Corbin or Franklin. I hope he settles down and sticks to Jazz basketball from now on.
 
So, tell everyone here, including the site administrators, how neg rep should be used. Tell me, random guy on the internet (or maybe not random to some people, so I've heard).

So, I've learned that to threaten someone is to neg them. I'll work hard at negging more and pos repping less. As it is I neg and pos rep less then anyone here. Congrats op you've created a monster.
