What's new

rockets- Harden prime example why I'm worried about Parker.

Jabari has no faults, except for his hair, and is the second coming. Disagree with me again, and you will have bad sex for the next 7 years.

If Jabari can score at a good pace with good efficiency while getting to the line...

If that.

I don't care if he's a bad defender. I think the Jazz have enough need for the first part that they can live with the second.

working late? can't call yourself a fan if you don't watch nba playoff games intentionally!

Nope, just have more important things to do then watch the 1st round of the playoffs. I'll probably tune in to a game 7, or when the 2nd round starts.

If I were a Rockets fan, this **** would be driving me out of my mind. He might be the best ball-watcher in the NBA.
Holy ****...Harden looks like he's out there playing with a tuxedo on. For real.

I would have called Aldridge one of the most overrated players before this series, hard to say that now though.

Yup. Funny how everyone's on his jock after two good playoff games. Dude has probably the worst offensive efficiency of any 19+ ppg player, yet he's suddenly everyone's MVP?

I'd take Zach Randolph over LMA.

I've also never been a fan of Aldridge's game. Too many jumpshots for a big dude. He does have good touch, but that's not the most efficient way to play. He is feasting on a terrible Rockets D with awful defenders at the 4 spot. Smaller dudes trying to box him out too (D Howard is always leaving to help on those putbacks I'd assume)

I remember watching him play for Texas for those 2 years (I believe it was). He was humongous (compared to the other collegiate athletes) and still played the same way he does now (i.e. jump shooting). His favorite move was to post up on the baseline about 15 feet from the basket and shoot a turnaround fadeaway jumper, pretty much the most inefficient move ever.

So to re-iterate (?), OP doesnt want jabari cause he might turn out like harden.

Ya i hope jabari is never a perrenial all star, representing usa in the olympics, one of the best players at his position, and an all NBA guy by the time he is 25.

What a bust he would be!

Man, just watch this Houston series. I'd be horrified if my team had Harden on a max contract. He is that bad on defense.

I get that.... but i have watched every minute of both games and like i said before..... hardens defense is not why they are losing these games.... at least not the main reason.

If harden was shooting in the 40's percent from the field in this series then the rockets would be up 2-0.
Or if any of the bigs could stop aldridge.

Also, boozer. Horrible defender.
Jeffy. horrible defender.

On the right team with the right culture/coach. Adaquate defenders on teams with good defensive stats.

It would be pretty sweet if Jabari turned out to be as good as Harden. Now, whether that is worthy of a max contract or not is another story. I think most people agree Harden is a great player, but is he worth it at the max? #May be, #May be not

Parker is somewhere between Melo and Bennett. If you put all three of their NCAA Per 40 Stats side by side, you'd be hard pressed to tell them apart. Similar bodies, defense, tweenerism, etc.

Pretty much this. I've watched every minute of this series, and it has re-opened and deepened my heartbreak over Wes. He might become the next "Jeff Hornacek" of jazz lore (i.e. that guy we desperately need to replace, but for whatever reason, we can't).

Haven't you forgot, that Raja was just as good as Wes and we wouldn't miss him. I have never gotten over the stupidity of letting him go.
