Would The Jazz Ask For Draft Help From Us?

Sounds like a publicity stunt to generate interest in the Kings.
A desperation tactic to sell tickets.

Meanwhile in Utah... " Pay the pick!"
I was thinking the same thing.

A novel approach in Sacramento. I've been there...they don't have sophisticated fans like we do; well, at least most of us on this board are sophisticated (and those that aren't, you know who you are). :p
Sounds like the Kings want to introduce analytics to the masses. Probably getting ready to make some roster changes and they'll have everyone who watched the draft well trained on some of the factors that are involved. I would love to be in a draft room and see what actually happens as trade talks are happening, players are moving up and down. And also how BPA vs. need plays out when a couple of players are ranked fairly close together.

The Kings are seeking help from the public on their draft picks. I guess they are going to end up picking two people to be in the draft room and get some input from them on who they should draft. It would be fascinating to be in that room, but how scary is it that a NBA team is asking for help from idiots like us?

If you think the Kings are actually care what those fans say your a bigger idiot then I thought, and if the jazz actually need our help, then they are in big trouble! I know this is probably a hypothetical question, but a really stupid one. You should be ashamed of your self.

Ok, you can begin your crying at how mean I am!

Ya bashing former players like Fisher, Dwill, Mark Jackson is classy...The whole world saw Jzz fans look like idiots with the fisher situation. Hell even Reggie Miller who was at the game said it was disgusting

I wonder if the Jazz would allow us fans to help negotiate with Gordon Hayward's agent? Sign me up for that!...I know I could do a good job.

And the word of Reggie Miller is the measuring stick by which we should judge?

Fisher lied. And he pulled the same **** in Dallas, asking for a release to be with his family, only to then sign with OKC a month later.
DWill stopped running Sloan's plays and was a whiny malcontent. Interesting that his career has taken a nosedive since he "forced" his way out of SLC with his attitude.
As for Jackson, just go back and google any Deseret News or SL Trib article from his Jazz days. It's not a rumor he divided the locker room; it's a fact. And he's burned through assistants and ownership since then as a coach, The leopard doesn't change its spots and neither does Jackson.

You responded to this guy with that many words?
You know better.

What can I say. I'm a bit angry.
Had a bad day...got into it with a ref at a soccer game, then found out in my daughter's basketball league the fathers of the two best girls have joined up as coach and assistant. My draft was ok, but that other team should easily go undefeated.

Sorry to hear about your day.. and your a.d.d.

What was funny was the ref tried to back me off the sideline and into the coach's box. He didn't realize I WASN'T the assistant coach. Heard he then looked for me after the game, but I had to leave at half-time for my basketball draft. I'm just WAY too competitive. More than that, though, I love good hard play, but when it crosses the line, I'm gonna react.

BTW, I've got a line on a top recruit for you for the class of 2022. ;)
This girl is 5'5" already (9 yrs old) and about 130 pounds (not fat...big frame and solid). Pretty skilled already around the basket for her age.

It's not even fun. Say one of us decides to put a little effort in...wins this thing...we throw on a Jimmer jersey.....and head out to Sacramento with the purpose of sabotaging their draft by feeding them a bunch of shiite. We couldn't possibly do worse than they have in the past.

I seriously might enter. It could be fun trying to think up something. But they might steal my secret sauce without proper attribution/compensation though.

But we are more sophisticated than Kings' fans!...have you ever seen a Jazz fan go to a game with cowbells before? Just saying...

We're all stupid. Scorpjazz, being the insightful fellow that he is, with his uncanny ability to acknowledge and point out how ridiculous the rest of us are, is able to catapult himself -- far and above we morons -- into the realm of sophisticated genius.
