What's new

A trade is brewing...

It still yet to be revealed where that "ending point that they want to get to " is. It could be dumping Hayward and the 23 to get a higher pick. It could be swapping the 23 pick for Eric Gordon. Nobody knows.

Lindsey has talked a lot and spent a lot of money on scouting and New staff, but nobody knows what his plan is or what he is capable of. He was able to fleece minny last draft, was that luck, coincidence, or brilliance?

The only clue he has given has been that the Jazz will not skip steps in rebuilding....what does that mean? How many steps are there? How many seasons to take a step?

"Because there’s so much potential talent in this draft, the draft picks will be very valuable commodities," Lindsey said. "Maybe we just use it in a different way to get to the ending point that we want to get to."

You can book it. The Jazz will not be keeping their #23 pick.

I didn't get that they were going to trade the pick from that article. Actually it sounded like they are keeping their options open to what is available in the draft.

Can we trade him?

I think he's just speculating, like any GM with multiple assets would do. Personally, I think we will do anything within reason to get to Wiggins. Bundling picks and/or one of our young guys.

So we will end up with Wiggins and Gordon and Exum?

Nice!

I think we should wait until we know the draft order.

Then, we should chill out until the workouts. I want to know about Embiid's back, Parker's fat, and Exum's potential before we freak out with speculation.

We trade #23 and a future second-round pick for Mo Harkless. Maybe we have to take a contract instead of giving the second rounder.

Next, trade Trey and next years top10-protected first for the rights to Marcus Smart.

And, of course, we gettin Wiggin with our pick this year.

We become a top10 defensive team, at last.
