Following potential 2014 draftees

If the Jazz get Wiggins, Parker or Exum, I'll be ecstatic. If we get Embiid, I'll be cautiously optimistic. If we get Randle, Smart or Vonleh, I'll be okay with it. Since we're guaranteed to be in the top 7, I guess I can sleep easy.

Good philosophy. And if Lindsey decides Gordon is a better fit for us in the 5-7 range, I'd also be ok. DL had a pretty good draft last time out. And made that great trade with GS. I think he knows his stuff.

You know, this Nurkic character has a lot of potential. Of all the players in the top 10, he's the least talked about, but he could end up being one of the top players of the draft...like better than Randle and Gordon.

If anyone here thinks anyone besides Wiggins is better than Gordon, you are kidding yourself into a meaningless existence.

I like Gordon a lot too. I got him at 4.

But don't kid yourself. He isn't and won't be better than Jabari.

Remember, this same time last year you were saying Otto Porter would be better than anyone from the 2014 draft class.

If all you people are saying swing for the fences on this pick, then you should have your draft board at least like this

Wiggins
Embiid
Exum
Parker
..

you guys will see this topic was going to useless when Jabari Parker leads nba in scoring in his rookie year while wuggunz rides the bench

One guy that isn't spoken on here is Nick Johnson. I tried to gather some intel about him and he intrigues me as a point guard like George Hill. Good shooting, not a consistent playmaker but potentially an elite defender. Good height to defend the tiny point guards in the Western Conference(Russell Westbrook really is the only guy in the West who's taller - but it doesn't matter, he can't shoot so lateral quickness is key to contain him). I think he's really interesting.

When it comes to backcourt players, would you rather have this guy on your team

I'm sure at age 18/19 I sounded the same.

I listened to a dozen interviews of 18 year old who can present themselves better than he does or at least stick to the script or show insecurity around media.
