Following potential 2014 draftees

I usually don't believe a word PKM says, but as he alluded to yesterday, Randle is going #2 to Philly. Just makes too much sense.

You're dumb. I'm an excellent source of info and have proven that dozens of times over the past years here.
you must be the type that only remembers the rare miss.

The nice thing about Randle is we could play small ball or big ball with him. We could play him at the 4 with Burks at the 2, or Randle at the 3 and Kanter at the 4. We could adjust to different styles of basketball very well.

Agreed. Except for the bolded bits.

And, fwiw, I don't think philly takes Randle before 4. I'm just reporting what I've heard from people that would know how interested philly seems to be in Julius.

FWIW, I'm not hell bent on playing Randle at the SF spot if we do draft him.

To me he's the best pick at #5 after the top 4 are gone. I love him as a player and as a competitor. If we do get him I'd be ecstatic. If we do play at the 3 I'd be ecstatic. But if we play him at the 4, I'd be happy with that too.

I just think our team needs a "warrior" who could carry the team emotionally, and I do think Randle is good enough and strong enough to be that guy.

Subtract the off-court concerns and some NBA officials are convinced Hairston would be a viable lottery selection. Some NBA scouts contend Hairston could even step right into a starting lineup next season. “That’s what I was told, that I could have been a lottery pick,” said Hairston, who has a 37-inch vertical leap and has drawn interest from several teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz. - Racine Journal-Times

sounds good to me, i have Hairston ranked in the lower 20's. if we could get him at 35 that'd be a steal

Like I said, I tend to believe what you're saying here because it makes sense for Philly to be interested in Randle - whether it's at 2 or 4. Bottom line is that if Philly takes Randle, the chances of them having two straight ROYs is very, very, likely.

Also, for you all of you who are on the Wiggins bandwagon (me included), if the Jazz win the lottery, they're taking Parker. Take it to the bank.
