For me, I've been looking at #5 ever since the Jazz won the coin flip w/ Boston, so not getting Wiggins or Parker is not going to leave me depressed. IMO, the draft is divided into two groups of 4 and then a bigger group at 9 through the teens. Obviously, nearly all of us have Wiggins, Parker, Embiid and Exum as the top-4 in some order. Then I think Vonleh, Randle, Smart and maybe Gordon are the next four (in some order). I'm really ok with any of them. Sure, I'd like one of the first group. But even if we were to stay at #4, I could see Utah passing on Embiid due to his back injury. So 4 OR 5 gives DL the opportunity to take the best of that second group, just depending on who impresses the most during workouts and interviews.
To be honest, I think Vonleh could be a better all-around player than Parker. Not as good a scorer, but a much better defender. Still have to take Parker at #2 or #3, but I'm throwing my hat in the ring right now for Vonleh.
Vohleh scares me. What scares me about him he's a college player that simply screams 'jazz type of player' to draft. I don't like that. I want someone that'll ruffle up some feathers and be productive as soon as possible. Vohleh will take time to start contributing and just seems your typical jazz type of player to me.
