What's new

***Official Ping Pong Day Thread - Tuesday - May 20th - 8 PM ET - ESPN***

i'm not saying everything in the nba is fixed but look at the facts. Cleveland received the pick cause the nba helped them recover from the lebron loss. The new orleans pick just happened to be after the hurricane and the team name change. Milwaukee got the pick because it was such a bad team they needed a huge boost to help them from going bankrupt. San antonio, right after the first time they had a bad season, they get the pick. The thought that san antonio is a small market is still so odd to me, texas is a huge state with a huge population. The last time the jazz had this position we got the #6 pick. Unless adam silver changes the "don" david stern way of doing things, i don't expect the jazz to get a good pick. And if you don't think the nba is fixed. Google the last minute of the clippers thunder game 5.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Texas has 3 teams.

If you look at the population of the San Antonio Austin area you will see that it is comparable(slightly larger than) to the Wasatch front. Sure they might have some bleed over from other parts of the state but that's a two way street.(probably some rockets fans in Austin).

Lottery Day!!!!!! I'm ready to bleed for Embiid!!!!! Go Celtics! Let's do this! Mama needs a new pair of shoes!!!!!!

He's probably more informed/connected than everyone on JazzFanz combined.

I'd say Embiid is a safe bet for a pick.

Not to mention that if Embodied is healthy he's the best prospect in the draft.. or at least arguably the best.

Yup. It's kinda like taking Olajuwon before Jordan-- to this day, you still can't say that the Rockets made a bad pick in any sense. At least, IMO.

I'd be ecstatic with Embiid if I knew he wouldn't be plagued with injury problems*

Tifwiw.. but teams don't seem to think he's got a back problem that is chronic.
