The Young Guys Talent.

I just ran into a video of the Jazz's highlights on April 11th. There are a lot of sweet plays by the young guys. There's even some sweet music that starts around 5:50.

Adding a potential #1 (Jabari) to this group would be huge.

I love Gobert's fire, he wants to prove everyone wrong.

Thanks for posting, doublea. As we watch these young potential NBA players and get excited about their upside, it's easy to forget that the Jazz young players were/are really good. They weren't coached worth a ****, but they are a very talented group.

Great video.
I still have lots of faith in our core. Which is why these trade proposals worry me.

I mean, i do think we need to use our assets to go after a top 3 guy in the draft but who do we trade.

Watching that video burks shows all kinds of skills (3 pointer, long 2 fading sideways and away from the hoop, buckets on the break, floater off the glass from 10 feet with a hand in his face, taking it right at lopez in the paint, blowing by the defense for the layup, using kanters screen/handoff for a tough layup over the defender) kanter too (help defense for a nice block to start the break, taking a guy off the dribble foe a dunk, running the floor foe the alley oop dunk, hitting shots just inside the 3 point line, making good passes for assists, grabbing rebounds in traffic)
Favors looking athletic and somewhat polished on offense
Burke hitting threes and setting up teammates.

Hayward looked the most uderwhelming of the group and probably has the best all around game.

Even gobert and evans are a joy to watch.

It would be tough to lose these guys and i keep hearing trades involving burks and kanter...... but it would suck to trade one of them and then watch them blow up on some other team.

I hope that we can get a top 3 pick using only other draft picks.

It would be nice to have a better idea of where our core rank against each other so we know who we really should be trading if that is the route we have to take

If only we could trade Hayward...

As a fan, it really would have been nice to see Burks and Kanter in the mid-30s minutes played last year and Gobert consistently with 15-20 minutes. :(

yup

It would have been great so them all start the whole season. Though we probably wouldn't have been drafting at #5.

I think this video showed a few things we need to do next year.

1. Get out and run more! Our guys are young!
2. Pass, pass, pass, and pass again. Ball movement is a good thing.
3. Pick and Roll Burke and Favors.

Really shows how much better the Jazz, and especially Favors, are when they run the floor. Use the speed, youth, and altitude to our advantage.

Kanter looks good when he goes up strong and isn't a black hole in the paint. He showed some nice passes in the vid and I think he can be a good passer.

Evans was surprisingly good this year, and I think I speak for most when I say I hope that Gobert gets more playing time next year.

Burks looks like he can be a stud and I hope we don't trade him on draft day.
