Already been said, but this is just insanity on multiple levels. The only thing that would make this worse is if we could somehow work Cleveland into the mix and obtain CJ Miles.
Kanter, because he could actually get you value back. Burks will just bring back meh pieces.

Boozer would be valuable filler to trade to a team wanting to make a playoff push. This is probably the most overlooked franchise building tool.
Trading Kanter avoids the contract extension drama. The Jazz will most likely offer him $6mm per, which is his value, but also a punch in the stomach that would sour their relationship with him for good.
16, 19, 23 gives you a lot of wiggle room to package to move up, or to package for quality starters.
Boozer can be bought out for much less than $16.8mm. Someone would want him for $8-10, which makes the total hit to salary cap pretty negligible after subtracting Kanter's out.

When has stringing together a slew of first round picks outside the lottery ever turned into something positive? Nobody wants that garbage and won't give you a good asset for it. I would be more interested in three early second round picks than that. Of the three guys you draft there the odds are that only one of them would be in the NBA three years later and he would be a fringe bench guy. But you will be paying those guys for three years. No thanks.

If Jusuf Nurkic falls to 16 or 19 this trade could end up a great one for the Jazz, hes Kanter-esque in frame and offensive game, and hes more nimble at a doughy 6'11" 280lbs, also plays with a meanstreak and gets tons of steals for a center (1.1 per game in 16MPG in the Adriatic league)
this trade puts the Jazz in position to land Nurkic, Stauskas, LaVine or maybe my top rated PG, Tyler Ennis at 16 maybe a Rodney Hood or James Young would be options at SF, i think its worth the price of bringing boozer aboard, and Booz could end up returning some value in a trade at the deadline
