If you go up to #2 and it's between Wiggins and Parker. You take wiggins simple as that. Yes Parker might be more "NBA Ready" but that's not what the Jazz absolutely need right now. The Jazz aren't going to turn into a Championship contender next year and one of these 2 isn't going to change that. So you take the one who has to develop into that "NBA Ready" player and when he does develop fully you (should) have the pieces around him to contend.

That's so dumb. If they think like that they are not deserving of owning an NBA franchise.

Agree that it's dumb.

The fight doesn't bother me as much. There've been Jazz players in the past who'd been in fights.

I have no place to be judging the weed :)

But the cruelty to animals thing. That gets me. That makes me not like this deal.

LOL -- Thee JF, why do you have to insult people just because you disagree with them? Just make your point and leave it at that. Why call people names? It's pointless, or maybe it gives you a warm, glowing feeling?

To me the Sanders part is not very consequential. This deal is made if you believe Wiggins or Parker are star quality players, and Favors is at best a fringe all star.

I get objecting to this based on basketball reasons, but if Sanders is a headcase you can Roger Braille his ***. If he actually matures a bit hey, there's a bonus.
 
It really comes down what DL sees in Parker/Wiggins. If he is convinced they are perennial All-Stars you pull the trigger without hesitation. Each draft has Adams/Favors/Ibaka type of guys in late teens and early twenties.
