I don't. He's a sieve on defense and my team has no place for a guy like that unless it's at the right price. Or have we learned nothing from Boozer, Okur and Kanter?
Since you'll have to pry him away from Detroit, I'd say $54/4. Without considering RFA status, he's probably worth what Favors would be making.
I wouldn't be upset with a Hayward/Monroe S/T swap (obviously, if that means you're getting a significantly better deal and more certainty).

One of the first thing the Pistons and SVG stressed after his hire was the desire to keep Monroe. It could be a move to kill his value in the market, but it could also make a suitor up their offer.

Yep. So let's rationalize paying 13M to a slightly above average offensive big who plays no defense.

No, but I know he stinks defensively and is soft and I can see a forest through the trees enough to realize virtually no team is going to win a ring with a sieve like that on the frontline.
I'm not sure why we're getting so defensive (no pun intended) about Greg Monroe.
He's a great passer and I recognize how important that is but beyond that he's highly underwhelming. To pay 13M for that seems dumb to me.
