Apparently like Orlandos offer.

https://basketball.realgm.com/wiret...andos-Offer-Of-Afflalo-Nos-4-12-For-No-1-Pick

The Philadelphia 76ers, Orlando Magic and Utah Jazz have all offered their high lottery picks plus a veteran to move up to No. 1 in a deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers aren't enamored by offers from the 76ers (Thad Young and the No. 3 pick) and Jazz (Derrick Favors and the No. 5 pick).

But the Magic offer of Arron Afflalo, along with the No. 4 and No. 12 pick is attractive to the Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers have strong interest in signing LeBron James and acquiring Afflalo would be seen as a strong move.

Fine by me. The Cavs got exactly what they wanted, a bidding war with teams with lots of assets.

I don't trust anything associated with Cleveland. Owner enjoys stirring the pot just to watch the potatoes swirl.

Call me crazy but with the question marks around both Wiggins and Gordon but I'm inclined to stay at 5 and take Gordon. He definitely has an attitude I like. Will work hard. I don't know if Wiggins will develop the same try-hard attitude and might disappear a lot in games. And, on top of that, he costs you Favors. Meh.

That's where I am at with this. I think Wiggins could be great, but there is a lot that has to go right. Gordon could be great and worst case he's Kenneth Faried. We need a guy who brings it every night.

I hope our rumored deal is what the Cavs wish we were offering. Not what we were in fact offering.

I'd like to see us keep Cleveland dangling as long as possible and try to work something out with Milwaukee or Philly in the meantime.

It would be so satisfying to pull the rug out from under the Cavs.

Our offer is the best of the bunch. Cleveland wants an established two-way big, we're only team of the bunch that has put that one the table.

Hmmm....

Afflalo doesn't fill a need for the Cavs...but oh well, they know how build a ****ty roster better than anyone, so who am I to question their motives...

I see Cavs ************ on this one. No way Orlando offers that and don't get anything of value in return which the source failed to mention. More like they are raising bids tempting the rest of the bidders to overreact.

what if we give them Kanter and Favors + 5 ? Then they will trade Dion Waters for 12th Pick and select Nik Stauskas...

Kyrie Irving/Matthew Dellavedova
Marcus Smart/Nik Stauskas
LeBron James/Loul Deng
Enes Kanter/Tristan Thompson
Derrick Favors/Anderson Varejao

Stauskas fits better than Smart. May be draft Vonleh or move Smart to the bench.

I think it's just a smokescreen from the Cavs. Afflalo doesn't fit and I think they REALLY want Favors but this is them just trying to get the Jazz to sweeten the deal but that's just my opinion

I think Orlando would come out and be like, "We did not suggest that trade at all."
