What in the name of Cleveland is going on?

Gilbert loves drama. When there is not enough of it, he creates more.

What has been all the talk for the last week?

Cleveland doctors reveal Embiid foot problems.
Cleveland says Jabbarri looked slow and out of shape.
Cleveland supposed to be considering multiple offers for the #1 pick.

Gilbert saw the headlines tipping towards the players so he threw out this private plane deal to put his club back at the top of the ESPN ticker.

Only thing he needs to do now is go out on the street with a sandwich board that reads, "Lebron, look at me. Lebron, are you watching?"
Think he'll take out a full-page ad if he gets Favors and Exum?

Center not afraid of getting physical: Check
A YOUNG Dwade: Check
All-star PG: Check
Quality PF: Check
Decent bench: Check
Dominant SF: That's you, Lebron

Cleveland, please join with me in supporting a hero's welcome for Lebron when he returns. Because I KNOW he'll return.

Probably just covering all their bases. I'm sure we are still in play with them but its probably not going to happen.

The fact that its a possibility will keep me up tomorrow, and probably tonight.

This makes no sense (or maybe just not to anyone else but Cleveland) unless they actually are considering trading down.

Exactly. We need realize that their owner is a huge attention-whore and just stop talking about Cleveland.

Cleveland = Sports Hell

It's not Heaven and Hell. It's Heaven and Cleveland.

In the esteemed words of Joakim Noah. . .

Since Exum likely won't fall to #5, I guess this could signal the end of trade talks with the Jazz?

This sounds like they might trade down with the sixers if they're bringing in exum

The more I think about it, the less likely I think it is that they trade down.

Right now, Cleveland is dominated by Johhny Manziel. The Cavs can't go All-in on LeBron, miss out and not have picked the best player in the draft. In the end, they'll take Wiggins. It's been building for over a year. All the rest of this is smoke and mirrors.

If they get LeBron, even better. They'll have a bad-*** chip to barter with to put a veteran team around him. Wiggins on a rookie contract is worth a lot more in drawing a star to play along with LeBron than trading back and getting any collection of picks and players from Philly, Orlando or Utah.

My prediction is that they take Wiggins and only look to trade him IF they get LeBron and position themselves to get another star player.

I don't really get the exum draft by the cavs (if this happens) when they have dion and irving BUT IT'S THE CAVS AFTER ALL

What it tells me is that the Cavs really, really want to trade down. If they were locked in on a prospect, they wouldn't be going through the madness. Instead, they're desperate to acquire as many assets that can help them 'win now' or entice Lebron back - simple as that.
