If Hayward leads this team in assists again, we are in a world of hurt. If so it probably means we had another season of Hayfense isoball, and I can't imagine Snyder to be a dumb as Corbin when we have at least two better playmakers on the team who should have the ball in their hands. Hayward's assists should go down and his shooting percentages should go up.

Burke lead the team by the end of the season.

Exum makes Hayward much more valuable to this team imo. It also means that if Exum starts Burks plays sixth man. If Exum works out we will have to trade Burke which is why I would rather do it before we are trading an "extra" player. Also, I'd rather not throw away another top 3 pick by holding on to guys that don't fit long term but get us W's now. I think Neto would be fully capable of playing back up pg on a lottery team anyway.

Why not have Burke as a back up pg, I could see him doing pretty well there.

I think this is going to be close, but my gut tells me that Hayward will garner more assists as the new kids try to figure out how to play consensus point guard. I see Hayward bumping his a bit to 6-7 and the others in the 4-6 range depending on minutes.

You could be right.

Also keep in mind they will be running a new system most likely, hopefully running more. It is my dream that this results in more fast breaks, and more assists per game. I guess we'll see what happens. This does mean Exum won't be as far behind as is usually the case with a rookie joining an established team. The others may pick things up more quickly, but I still expect a whole new offensive system. This is one of the reasons I would give a slight edge to Hayward.

It'll be Trey, almost no question in my mind.

Unless Exum is the ******* or Hayward makes The Leap, it'll be TB.

2 Reasons

1st I think he would be a total pain in the *** about it.

2nd(more importantly) His value would plummet. What did the Suns pay for Bledsoe?

Some teams are playing a 2 pg back court and having a lot of success if the offensive sets are molded correctly. I'm not saying run Exum and Burke the majority of the game, but throw that option of back court out there a few times a game and see how they do.

Exactly. Make teams adjust to us and not the other way around.
